At Big Star Ranch, Inc. in Beavercreek Oregon, Barbara Knudsen teaches beginning horsemanship and riding. Much more than a riding program, we offer natural horsemanship training and techniques that will affect how you communicate and build relationships both with horses and with other people in your life.
I am a faculty member of Ohio University Southern in their Equine Studies Program, where we have an Associates in Equine Studies (www.ousequinedegree.com). I primarily teach the riding courses (western and english), the horse handling class, coach the IHSA Western and Hunt Seat Equestrain teams and assist with the OUS Dressage team. We have recently gone through the CHA Site Accredidation and have been approved as a CHA College Program, which we are excited to offer to our students. PATH Intl. Registered Level Instructor.
Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my profile! My name is Brandy Brown and I am a level 2 Western and level 1 English instructor. I was certified in May of 2015.
My Background: I have been around horses and the sport of rodeo my entire life. I am a fourth generation calf roper and my family has raised and trained rodeo performance horses for now 3 generations. We specialize in calf roping, team roping, and barrel racing horses. I competed in the Nebraska High School Rodeo Association, was the 2012 year end breakaway and barrel racing champion, and made the National High School Rodeo Finals 3 times in the breakaway and barrel racing. I just recently graduated from Laramie County Community College with a degree in Equine Training Management where I competed in rodeo at the college level and qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo in 2014 in the breakaway.
If you have always wanted to get into the rodeo world, I am the instructor for you! I can help you get to your best competitive level, help you and your horses master patterns, and guide you through associations as you progress.
Now, if you are just wanting to advance your riding, horsemanship, and just enjoy horses in the best form, I am certified by the CHA to do just that!
Please feel free to contact me if you have absolutely any questions! I would love to hear from you! Thank you again for visiting my profile!!
